PETS 2026 mascot (Randy the Moose)

My colleague Bailey Kacsmar was co-chairing PETS 2026 with Ryan Henry, and she suggested the idea that I could draw a “mascot” for the conference.
After a few iterations, we got Randy the Moose (naming credit goes to Ryan). This is the final drawing, which was part of the T-shirt, reusable bottles, pins, and other conference merch. I drew it on my iPad and then traced it to vector graphics using Inkscape.
Bailey also suggested we could have a “hot” version of Randy for HotPETs, a workshop co-hosted with PETS. This resulted in HotPETs Randy:
